Cenegenics® Atlantic City Team
Russell V. Silverman, D.O.
Dr. Russell Silverman is a board-certified family physician. Dr. Silverman has completed Physician Training & Certification in Age Management Medicine, jointly sponsored by Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (CERF) and the Foundation for Care Management (FCM).
A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Silverman was the associate medical director at Continental Health Evaluation Center in Boulder, Colorado. He also served at the world-famous Pritikin Center in Downington, Pennsylvania. Throughout his 30 years of private practice, Dr. Silverman delivered personal care, often visiting patients in their homes. He cultivated a special appreciation for the elderly, realizing that medicine only treated their degenerative diseases after symptoms occurred. It was his ambition to prevent these illnesses, which he believed began in a patient’s 30s, 40s and 50s, but only became noticeable later in life.
As it turned out, Dr. Silverman’s personal health pursuit led him to the proactive, preventive medical specialty, age management. His ongoing interest in holistic and preventive medicine expanded his knowledge in other fields as well, such as European biological medicine, Bau biology and environmental medicine.
Dr. Silverman uses an approach, which integrates early detection, prevention and reversal of diseases associated with aging, in combination with nutrition, exercise and treatment for identified hormone deficiencies. Subsequently, he has made multiple TV appearances and been a guest on radio shows, focused on age management medicine and male menopause (andropause).
Dr. Silverman also is a former professional tennis player, avid rower and photographer.
Dr. Silverman’s office is only minutes away from Atlantic City!
Dr. Russell Silverman
Nutrition and natural healing have always been a special interest of mine. After raising my two children, I decided to become formally educated in nutrition and holistic health care.
I received my training at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City, which is affiliated with the Teacher’s College of Columbia University. I am also certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP).
My goal is to help others achieve a healthy, balanced lifestyle through whole foods. I also emphasize the role that career, personal relationships, spirituality and exercise play in overall well-being. I have been working with Dr. Silverman since early 2007.
I love the feeling of accomplishment when patients achieve optimal results from nutrition and lifestyle changes. I have seen dramatic improvements in patients’ body composition, energy level, lab results, and even attitude. I am proud to have the opportunity to assist our patients achieve their personal best through the Cenegenics program.
